IgniteEnergy Stream Energy/Ignite Energy Scam or Real DealWith all the hoopla about Energy MLM’s there is always some one talking about an Ignite Energy Scam. So to clear the air here is a 3rd Party review.

Ignite Energy Scam – The Truth, The Innovator

Ignite Energy, the marketing arm of Stream Energy (located in Dallas, Texas) is widely regarded to be the first company to prove that network marketing was an effective business model for energy. They started the network marketing approach to selling Energy in Texas in 2005. Their concept was to provide affordable energy to customers in states where energy deregulation was enacted and delivering the service through home based business affiliates or Independent Associates.

Ignite – The Fast Mover

Ignite Energy (sometimes called Stream Electric) tore up the Energy business doing $70,000,000 in their first year and were on track to be the fastest company to $1 Billion dollars heading out of 2008. They stalled a little bit, reaching “only” $902,000,000 in 2010. During that time they were only operating in two states, Texas and Georgia which may or may not have been a factor in the plateauing of gross revenues. They opened in Pennsylvania in January 2010 and just recently in Maryland.

Ignite Energy Scam – Not with these Awards

According to Direct Selling News Global 100, Stream Energy (Ignite) is the 16th largest Direct Selling company in the world (2010). Inc. 500 lists them as the 198th Fastest Growing Private Company in 2009.

Ignite and You

Is there any truth to the idea of a Stream Energy Scam or an Ignite Energy Scam, no, nothing could be farther from the truth. The Ignite Energy MLM compensation plan is based on a basic building block of each Independent Associate bringing in 3 Independent Associates and signing up 10 customers for more affordable energy. This is then repeated in each of the subsequent levels of Managing Director, Senior Director, and Executive Director. The point here is that most MLM plan experts say that compensation based on an individual person getting 3 people to join them is the optimum number for insuring success and “do-ability”.

So if you have found this in your Due diligence search, good for you. You are acting like a real business owner making sure there is, indeed, no Ignite Energy Scam. The next thing you need to do, besides getting with the person who shared the plan with you and signing up, is to ask yourself this question:

Do you want to use the Internet and/or Social Networking to build your business after you contact everyone on the list your sponsor has asked you to make?

If you answered “Yes” to that question, learn how to overcome the Number 1 Fear of All Network Marketers by Clicking here.
